Hazel is flowering throughout its distribution area in the southwestern and southern parts of the country.

Alder flowering continues in the southern and central parts of the country as well as in Northern Ostrobothnia. Flowering has started in the warmest habitats in Kainuu. Flowering is expected to start in Southern Lapland within the next two weeks. Alder pollen may be transported as far as northern Lapland.

Small amounts of long-range transported birch pollen may reach the southern and central parts of the country during the forecast period.

Rain reduces pollen concentrations in the air.
