Birches are flowering throughout the country, northern Lapland excluded. The flowering is coming to an end in the southern parts of the country and flowering diminishes in the central parts of the country. The amounts of birch pollen are mainly abundant in the flowering area. Birch pollen is transported to the northern parts of Lapland too.

The first grasses have begun to flower in the warmest habitats of Southwest Finland and Uusimaa. Pollen levels are still very low.

Conifer flowering has begun in the southern parts of the country. Conifer pollen sets on surfaces forming a yellow layer, but causes allergic reactions to very few.

Alder flowering continues with low pollen counts in northern Lapland.
