Grass flowering continues in the whole country, Lapland excluded. Flowering is coming to an end in the Northern Ostrobothnia and Kainuu.

Mugwort flowering continues in the southern parts of the country, and is coming to an end in the central parts of the country.

Ragweed is flowering in Central and Southeastern Europe. Long-range transported ragweed pollen is expected to reach southern parts of the country on Friday, and pollen is expected to spread to the central parts of the country and Kainuu over the weekend.

Rain lowers the concentration of pollen in the air.
